Super Safe transportation in the Panic Society



    There were many ways to travel in the evil 20th century.
There were ways to travel both as a necessity and for recreation.
You could walk, drive, ride on a bus, train, ship, airplane, use
a bike, motorcycle, ORV, boat, snowmobile, dog sled, ski, etc.

    In addition, a lot of materials were hauled by truck,
trains, aircraft, ships, pipelines, etc.

    However, this wasn't without its risk. As a result, your
glorious leaders started screaming for bans and restrictions in
order to protect us from ourselves.

    It all started with the Gasoline double bottom tanker truck
in Michigan. The State of Michigan requires that all trucks
hauling hazardous material be regularly inspected and maintained
in good operating conditions. However, that didn't stop those
tank trucks exploding into huge fireballs when they were involved
in a wreck.

    Your Glorious Leaders screamed that such trucks were too
dangerous. After one exploded in Flint on I-75 and destroyed the
overpass, a law was passed banning the use of the double bottom
tanker on the highways.

    Your glorious leaders screamed for and got laws passed that
restricted the use of motorcycle and required the use of helmets.
Laws were also passed requiring the use of seat belts. As usual,
other Liberals screamed that their rights to not wear them was
being stepped on.

    The snowmobile and 3 and 4 wheel RV soon became popular as
leisure forms of recreation. However, after a series of accidents
and deaths due to such careless use of those toys, a whole bunch
of laws were passed by your glorious leaders restricting the use
of those toys. We even got banned the sale of the three wheel RV.
We even eliminated the dangerous dirt bikes and four wheel RV. In
fact, we have been able to ban their use from many areas of the
State.

    Bicycles are not safe either. Each year, those nasty
careless parents of little kids try to get their kids to start
riding a bike. Often those kids get badly hurt when they fall off
or run into something. Once those kids know how to stay on a
bike, they are often racing out into the streets where they can
be hit by a car or truck. Many adults are getting killed while
riding them. Your glorious leaders have also banned bicycles
because they can be so dangerous.

    Your glorious leaders have also found out that walking is
dangerous. Look at all the walkers and joggers that get killed or
suffer heart attacks each year.

    Kids like to play on skateboards. They charge down hills, up
ramps and in all kinds of places. Because of all of the serious
injuries that can occur while on a skateboard, Your glorious
leaders got the use of skateboards banned.

    Skiing is very dangerous. Thousands of people get injured on
skis each year as they run into each other, break legs and arms
in a spill, or run into trees. Therefore, your glorious leaders
have banned skiing for your own good and well being.

    And, if you use a dog sled, the dogs could bite you as they
get very excited. Besides, it is cruel to the dogs.

    Horseback riding is dangerous too. On July of 1989, that
evil President Regan got bucked off and ended up in the hospital.
In fact, horseback riding is even more dangerous then motorcycle
riding.

    Traveling is very dangerous. Look at all the auto accidents,
shipwrecks, train wreaks, and horrible lost of life from air
crashes in the 20th century.

    Vacationing in foreign countries has been a very popular
thing to do. However, it has not been without risk.

    Some foreign countries such as Algeria, Syria, Iraq, and
Iran, were home to all kinds of terrorist. There were many
religious extremist that believed that they would go to heaven if
they attacked Westerners and were killed in the process. As a
result, several commercial aircraft such as Pan Am Flight 103
have exploded in flight resulting in the deaths of hundreds of
tourist.

    Foreign travel is just plain dangerous. You could suffer
severe food poisoning, The water could give you severe diarrhea.
You might be mugged or held up by bandits. Pirates might hijack
your ship. You might be arrested for spying and spend the rest of
your life in a foreign prison. The airplane might be hijacked by
terrorist. You could be taken hostage by a hostile government as
200 foreigners were when their airplane landed in Kuwait on
August 2, 1990.

    In the summer of 1989, your glorious leaders started
screaming about the so called "Death Train" from Dow. This is a
unit train that carried various chemicals from Midland, Michigan,
to Midland, Texas. This train no longer uses this route

    There are also other problems that your glorious leaders
screamed about. In 1989 there were a series of oil spills caused
by tankers running aground. Also, a gas pipeline in Russia
exploded killing a lot of people.

    Boating is very dangerous. Some people were injured in boats
after the Fireworks display in Bay City in 1989. Each year,
hundreds drown or die in boating accidents. Also, many people
drowned when overloaded ferry boats sank in storms or other
accidents.

    After the lost of the space shuttle Challenger, your
glorious leaders screamed long and loud to have human travel
banned from space flight.

    It was just plain dangerous to travel in a car. Roads could
get slick. Speeding and drunken driving was happening everywhere.
There was no place safe to go if nature called. The bridge could
collapse or a rockslide could fall on the road. . Roads were full
of potholes. Roads could also flood in a storm. Then, in many
major cities, you could be shot by some nut or get in the way of
a drug war.

    The Nimitz Freeway collapsed on hundreds of cars full of
people during the 1989 San Francisco earthquake and killed nearly
everyone in those cars. This was a double decker freeway that was
built in an effort to reduce the traffic jams in that area. Your
glorious leaders got the rest of this evil freeway removed.

    There was extreme danger of being killed by a drunk or drug
abusing driver. Many of those drivers had been arrested many
times for being drunk. Others had killed people while they were
drunk. However, the courts just slapped them on their wrist,
turned them loose without their licence, and they continue to
drive while drunk.

    Example a family of 4 were killed instantly, one daughter
barely surviving when a car full of highly intoxicated teen aged
boys smashed into their car at a high rate of speed. All but one
teen boy was plastered to double the legal limit for drunken
driving. They all had long drinking arrest records.

    One man while drunk killed a busload of schoolchildren.

    A car with three drunk teens smashed broadside into another
full of people killing several people. The drunken driver ran the
stop sign at over 70mph. Your glorious leaders made sure that one
of the drunken passengers sued the driver of the victims car on
the grounds that there were too many passengers in the car for
the driver to see him coming. "I am not kidding".

    December 11, 1990, 15 people were killed and hundreds
injured in a huge pileup on I-75 in Tennessee. The wreak
stretches for 3 miles. Some cars were crushed into suitcase size
cubes by the impacts. Over 75 cars and trucks were involved.

    The subways are extremely dangerous as well. In addition to
kids running those trains, gangs of teen boys, armed with machine
guns, rob entire trainloads of passengers daily in Manhattan.

    Nearly 50,000 people are killed in automobile crashes each
year.

    Captain Hazlewood ran his tanker into a reef in Alaska in
1989, causing a huge oil spill. He was drunk at the time.

    Each year dozens of overloaded ferries capsize in third
world countries and result in the deaths of thousands. There are
also train wrecks, bus crashes and plane crashes that result in
the deaths of thousands more.

    There was so much panic in traveling overseas that your
glorious leaders made sure that many people stayed home. There is
great fear that their plane may be blown up. Their ship may be
hijacked, They may be shot at while in their car. In face, many
cars are driving by a lot of houses with guns blazing. They could
be shot or mugged while walking on the street. Some mad dog might
attack them. Pieces of Russian space ships are falling from the
sky.

    As of January 16, 1990 there is now an extreme fear of
terrorism attacks by followers of Saddam Hussein, or some other
nuts.

    Some examples. Many of the tourist attractions in Washington
DC are now closed to the public.

    In all airport, you are subject to extensive searches of all
of your baggage. Many flights have been cancelled. So many people
are staying home that one flight to London had one passenger on
it.

    If you are of Arabian nationally, you are subject to
searches by the FBI. One airline will refuse to let you board any
of its flights.

    The 1991 Superbowl was one big panic session. All people
were searched. No one was allowed to take in anything except
Binoculars.



    In the Panic Society, travel is limited to the following.

1. Moving into your new super safe housing cluster from your
former home.

2. Moving inside your super safe living unit.

    There is no other traveling allowed. This is for your own
safety and well being.



    Transportation to your new living unit is handled by the
robo transport unit. You are sealed in a super safe well padded
transport unit for your trip. It is a nice safe unit with a
computer monitor center, entertainment unit, bathroom module, and
a food and drink dispenser.

    Robo transport takes care of the driving. Your transport
unit travels down a super safe travelway, which is free of
dangerous bridges and tunnels, and is directed to the housing
unit of your destination. Only one transport at a time is ever on
the travelway. Units travel no faster then a safe walking speed.
(4mph) Since no one is allowed to travel very far in the Panic
Society, your trip will take no longer then a few days at the
most.

    Since only one person is allowed per transport unit, you
will need to make special arrangements if more then one person
going with you to your new housing unit.

    There are no personal belongings that have to be sent along
as all necessary items are always in stock in the Super Safe
House. Robo moving units use a separate travelway. They carry any
and all other items needed in the Panic Society. They can move at
a much higher speed (5MPH) as there are never any humans aboard.



    The only moving inside your super safe housing unit is as
follows.

1. From your living unit to your dinette unit.

2. From your living unit to the bedroom unit.

3. From your living unit to the bathroom unit

4. From the above back to your living unit.

5. if you are African American, to your gold room and back.



    You walk on super safe flooring a short distance to those
other units. There are no stairs or elevators to worry about. All
shopping is now done electronically. All such items are delivered
by robo delivery into your receiving container. Any large items
that need installation are done by a robo unit only when everyone
is safely at another location.

    All materials are transported on the robo travelway. There
are no chemicals or other hazardous materials ever moved on those
travelways. There is nothing ever sent on the water. There is
nothing ever flying in the air except for any birds and insects
that are left.

    Pipes that are made from a super safe plastic only carry
water or waste that goes to a treatment unit.

    What few dangerous materials such as hydrogen and the few
chemicals that are absolutely necessary to make the super safe
plastics and silicon rubbers are all handled at one location by
robo units far away from any super safe housing or human
travelways.

    People in the Panic Society are not allowed to drive, ride a
bike, go out in a boat, walk or jog outside, use a RV, or do any
other form of transportation. This way, they are well protected
from any risk of injury or death that could happen to them.

    There are already some places in 20th century technology
where people can work, shop, go to school, and go to a place of
recreation all in the confines of a single building. When it was
all put on a ground floor and the number of people are reduced in
that building, the Panic Society housing was developed.
